Homestay Accommodation

Host families provide a welcoming environment where guests practice the local language and experience real daily life.

Being abroad can sometimes be overwhelming — that’s why host families act as a crucial support system, offering reassurance, guidance, and a home-away-from-home.

ABOUT OUR HOST FAMILIES/ HOMESTAY’S

  • Located in suburban areas neat local transport.
  • Single/twin/triple rooms available depending on your budget.
  • Self-catering, half-board, or full-board options.
  • Towels, linen, and weekly laundry included.
  • Families help students settle into the home and neighbourhood.
  • Curfews for under-18s.

***Guests should be aware that Host Family/homestay accommodations are private family residences, not luxury Air B&B’s or hotels. They offer a comfortable and authentic home environment reflective of everyday local living. Requests for luxury amenities or hotel-style services fall outside the scope of this accommodation type.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • You will share the accommodation with other international students.
  • Accommodation is located in different areas of the city, all within easy access of amenities. City centre is not guaranteed.
  • Rooms are allocated on an availability basis.
  • A €100 deposit must be paid on arrival. It will be returned at the end of the stay*.
  • *Minus any deductions for damages/repairs.

Hosting a student is a rewarding cultural exchange. Host families receive payment, language practice, new company, and full support from our team.

The security and welfare of our students is paramount to us and so we make sure to carefully check any new host family to ensure their suitability to the programme. Please see the terms and conditions for more information on what is expected.
